Response to Anti-social Forces
GRANVISTA Hotels & Resorts (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) stands firmly against anti-social forces that threaten the order and safety of society, and takes care not to engage in relationships with such forces based on the Guidelines for Business Enterprises to Prevent Damage by Anti-Social Forces (the result of a meeting of Cabinet ministers responsible for anti-crime measures).
In this connection, the Company hereby declares a firm commitment to fulfilling its social responsibility as a business operator and striving to maintain the trust of society. To this end, it pledges to adhere to the following basic policy:
Basic Policy on Response to Anti-social Forces
- Rejection of relationships with anti-social forces
The Company shall not engage in business or other types of relationships with anti-social forces. Any proposals for connections with or undue demands from such forces shall be rejected. - Response as an organization
The Company shall respond as a whole organization, from the levels of president down to individual employees, to anti-social forces. Efforts shall also be taken to ensure the safety of employees in response to undue demands from anti-social forces. - Cooperation with specialized agencies
The Company shall closely cooperate with specialized agencies working to eliminate anti-social forces. Such parties shall include law enforcement organizations, Centers for the Elimination of Boryokudan, and lawyers. - Response to specific cases based on civil and criminal law
The company shall respond to undue demands from anti-social forces based on civil and criminal law. - Prohibition of backroom deals and funding provision
The Company shall not make backroom deals with anti-social forces to cover up business or employee issues even in the face of undue demands. Funding shall not be provided to anti-social forces. - Rejection and cancellation of reservations/contracts for facility usage
The Company shall not accept reservations for facility usage or conclude related contracts with anti-social forces. Any reservations or contracts found to involve such parties shall be canceled.
The Company shall also follow prefectural organized crime exclusion ordinances and other related stipulations.
*The term anti-social forces refers to groups or individuals described in the Guidelines for Business Enterprises to Prevent Damage by Anti-Social Forces.
