A New "Value-Experience Hotel" to Disseminate Local Values in Osaka

Hotel Intergate Osaka Umeda will be the fifth Intergate Hotels location following Kyoto, Tokyo, Hiroshima, and Kanazawa, and will open on April 1, 2021, in the Nishi-Umeda District, the heart of Osaka, with offices and large-scale commercial facilities in the vicinity, providing easy access to both business districts and tourist spots.

One of the charms of the building is that it has been designed with "Osaka WIT (intellectual playfulness)" art throughout, creating a space where you can feel the history and culture of Osaka. Osaka was once a city of water, with its many bridges and waterways called the "eight hundred and eight bridges". This is a hotel where you can travel through time and space, overlaying the memories of that time with the glittering modern Osaka.

The "Intergate Lounge", which is available for guests to use freely during their stay, offers a changing variety of snacks and beverages depending on the time of the day. For breakfast, the lounge offers a "breakfast of freshly baked breads and delicious dishes rich in vegetables" with more than 50 different dishes using plenty of local ingredients. In addition, you can enjoy the coffee that is carefully brewed one cup at a time using beans from long-established local coffee shops or you can taste any combination of toppings and soup stock at the "ochazuke buffet" that is prepared as an evening menu.

In the guest rooms, by scanning the 2D barcode from the TV monitor, you can enjoy the hotel's original version of Kamigata Rakugo, Osaka's traditional performing arts, on your smartphone, or make bracelets using Izumi TombodamaⓇ, a traditional craft designated by the governor of Osaka Prefecture. You can experience Osaka's traditional culture while staying at the hotel.
