The hotel's Land Relation Team, made up of hotel staff, works closely with "Land Relation Supporters"—local residents and businesses—to create authentic experiences for guests. One example is a pottery workshop led by Akira Tamada, owner of Seifu-gama Pottery Studio, where participants create ceramics using red clay unearthed during the hotel's construction. Mr. Tamada shares the hotel's vision, saying: "I hope we can introduce visitors to the deeper, lesser-known stories of our community."

General Manager Ichikawa believes that the success of Land Relation depends not only on a dedicated team, but on every hotel staff member sharing a passion for supporting the local community.

Precisely because information is so abundant online today, staff themselves continually seek out hidden local treasures and transform them into experiences unique to this hotel.

One example is a collaboration with the local Kamimura Distillery, offering guests cellared Kusu (aged Awamori) featuring an original hotel label. "Guests can leave a handwritten message on the label during their stay—perhaps while celebrating a honeymoon or another special occasion," he explains. "The bottle is then aged at the distillery for five or even ten years before they return to Okinawa to enjoy their own matured Kusu on a future anniversary, offering a long-lasting memory."
